Refrigerator Bran Muffins

4 cups All Bran cereal (Bran Buds is a good one)
1 tsp salt
1 quart (4 Cups) Buttermilk
2 cups boiling water                   
Combine these 4 items and cool to lukewarm.

In another bowl mix together:
5 cups flour
2 cups wheat bran
5 tsp baking soda

In a really big bowl mix together:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup canola oil or corn oil
Blend this until mixed really well

Add :  
4 eggs, mix in one at a time and blend until well combined. Add Water/Buttermilk mixture to this.

Put away the electric mixer!

Stirring by hand, add the flour/bran mixture to the liquid mixture.
Mix just enough to moisten the flour. Do not over mix!

Grease muffin tins.
Bake @ 375 for about 20 -25 min for small muffins or 30 -35 for larger ones.

Add blueberries just before baking – only put a few in each muffin as it will make them too moist if you over do it.

Store in fridge up to 1 week. Take out only the amount you wish to make each day. Do not stir again, before putting in muffin tins.
